Robert Wheeler, principal of 21B, has been interested in design from a young age. Racing sailboats on the Hudson River, he was inspired by their elegant forms and functional designs. He received a BFA in metal casting from Alfred University, and worked at Polich Tallix Fine Art Foundry on projects for Matthew Barney, Jim Hodges, Tom Otterness and more. Equipped with the technique, craftsmanship, and value of client relationships, Wheeler founded 21B Design. Wheeler’s background in fine art sets 21B Design apart from other architectural design and fabrication studios. Our skill and passion is reflected in the work we create.
